Hey my babies! Today I dipped into a few of my Juvia’s place palettes and produced this fierce yellow n’ green eye look.
If you’re a beginner and afraid to rock color because you feel like it can get out of control, here are a few things to simplify your process.
1) Use a skin tone shadow in the crease, leading to the brow bone. This will ensure that you keep a natural look to the mid-upper eye.
2) Apply the bright colors to the mobile lid only (the part that moves when you blink). This will keep you from blending those shades too high.
3) Apply a darker shadow to the outer corners. This will tone down the eye so that it’s ‘wearable’ and not just an instagram look. But I suggest using a dark brown shadow first. If you go directly in with black, things could get messy. It’s hard to blend out black shadow if you get carried away. Add a tiny amount of black shadow over the brown, if you need to add more depth, at the end.
As always, if there is a look you’d like to see, let me know.
